GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD DAY FOLKS! Welcome back to the show! :D Excited to see what’s in this month’s blog? Me too! This month was………..interesting to say the least. But work has been started on a new story! Don’t forget to keep a eye out on the Comic Books Or Us website for it! Now, let’s not waste any time. Let’s get right into it!
Discussion Question
What’s your favorite thing about Easter? :0
My answer? For my family, it’s all about da food! 😀
Top 3 Memorable Moments of the Month
April Fool's Day (and some brown E's...)
This one was the best! We pranked a few friends with our classic “brown E's” joke. To make them, you take brown construction paper and make some E outlines. Then, cut them out, and you have yourself some brown E’s! >:D You put them onto a plate and cover them with tinfoil. Then you tell your friend that you have some brownies for them… and when they lift up the tin foil, instead of brownies, they find brown E’s! >XD
My Achey Breaker Heart D&D Crochet Book
I found this a while back when I was out with my dad. I slipped into the screen-free games store at Semiahmoo Mall, and found it just chilling on the shelves… And I knew: this was a journey I must undertake. So I'm going to learn how to crochet!
"My Best Friend Is a ___"
I started writing my first fiction fantasy story, “My Best Friend is a ___,” in April, and I’ve been workin’ on it ever since. Sorry folks, no sneak peaks! You’ll just have to wait until the story is complete to see it!

Fun Friday of the Month
Easter Egg Hunt at Greendale Acres
This was an interesting day. It was a very long drive to Greendale Acres, which was all the way out in Chilliwack. I remember it like it was yesterday… The event was on a farm. There was an Easter Egg Hunt, a “train” ride, & a lot of animals to see.
Unfortunately, I started feeling sick somehow, and it got REAL bad due to all the pollen in the air. I felt like a mess by the time we left.
But on the bright side, I did get a cute little light blue plush bunny! :D And someone recognized the Toy Freddy pin on my raincoat — always good to meet a fellow FNAF Fan.
Winning Big 💪
The big win for this month was doing 2 volunteering shifts — in the same week!
One of the shifts was for Party for the Planet: I was workin’ the “Paint a Salmon” area of the Salmon Walk sector of the event. I even painted two wooden salmons! :0 :D And soon, they’re all going to be put up on a fence. A few days earlier, I did set up and take down for an event at Newton Senior Centre, which was also cool. 🙂
What I’m Reading

The Darkdeep by Ally Condie and Brendan Reichs
This is one of my current favorite books! :D Taking place in the fictional town of Timbers, the story follows a few friends who discover a pool in a abandoned houseboat they name the “Darkdeep.” And after a while, things start to get weird…
No spoilers, but The Darkdeep inspired me to try out something new for “My Best Friend is a ___”: alternating narrators!
