GOOOOOOOD MORNING EVERYBODY! 😀 Chris Paquette here bringing you another monthly newsletter. Let’s get right into it shall we??? This month was something special as I started work on a new book (That you’ll probably see on the shop eventually). It’s a mix of SCP: Containment Breach, Iron Lung, Ultrakill and Doors. I bring you Confinement! Coming to a website near you! 😉 Now enough of my rambling.

Healthy Baking Highlights
Carrot-Orange Pops
Ah yes. Orange Carrot pops. 🙂 A delicious cool treat. If only we had a picture of them — but there’s always next time 😀 The story behind these is that I needed a summer treat that was healthy, so we found these. It was a fast journey to make them and, well, they turned out great! There were only 2 ingredients needed: Orange juice & pureed carrots. 🥕

Coming soon: Confinement
In the year 2051, Darkside Industries suffered a XK Anomaly containment breach and initiated the Expendable protocol: recruiting criminals from death row and sending them down below to die. They were called Expendables because they were never expected…………….to return. Our story features Cosmo Willis, a cybercriminal who was recruited by Darkside Industries’ Expendable protocol to retrieve Odin’s Heart (Z-003).
Sneak peek:
Lights flickered in the lobby of the Darkside Industries facility as Darkside Industries MR-P Cosmo Willis walked along with 2 armed Darkside guardsmen behind her. “We're authorized to kill any disobedient expendables, so don't try anything stupid." One of the guardsmen said as he jabbed Cosmo in the spine with the blunt end of his rifle, making Cosmo let out a groan of pain as they walked along. “Quit it. I’m going.” She grumbled as she walked along. The guardsmen didn’t say a word as they walked along with Cosmo towards the elevator bay. A sea of criminals just like her stood in the elevator bay waiting for directions on where to go. And in the middle stood an elevator with its doors open, with the sign above the elevator that said “Entrance to Darkside Blacksite. 60 feet underground.”
Highlight of the Month:
Showing my BI Confinement
This story is a part of a trilogy called “The Blacksite Trilogy.” My BI’s reaction to it was both surprised & happy. 🙂 I worked harder than ever on this story, and it was nice to get some appreciation for it. As for why it was the best? THEY don’t know that I got 2 more stories on the way: Confinement: The Hunted and Confinement: The Raveyard (and also maybe Confinement: The North Pole). I’m going to put my blood, sweat & tears into this trilogy!
Joke of the Month:
Q: Did you hear about the new restaurant they put on Mars?
A: I hear the food is out of this world!
