CP's July Newsletter

Hey folks! :D How’s it going? Ima good. Was better before I got stuck upside down in this hole in the ground….How am I gonna get myself out of this one I wonder? Eh I’ll find some way. Anywho, enough of my rambling. On with the newsletter!

Fun Fridays

A note from the editor: Every week, Chris has a "Fun Friday" — an outing or other activity that allows him to socialize with his peers and explore his community. Some are full-day outings. Other times, we stay close to home, and enjoy some fresh air on a walk or hike.

July 18th: South Arm Outdoor Pool

July 25th: ABA Camp Alumni Day

Workout Highlight

Kayaking

Went kayaking for the first time in years :0 This happened in Oysoos — the only desert in Canada. My brain wanted me to flip but I stayed upright despite the shakiness. Eventually I had enough and just headed onto dry land. I will say one thing: my arms were tired, because I kept somehow doing spinnies in the kayak before I chose to get out. (It was easier doing that on land!)

Story Updates

The Hypno-Circus Audition (Starwell's World: Bonus Story!)

The trailer the Starview Circus Trope lived in was very cramped and small, with there being barely any room. Tho Sugarpop didn’t mind as she was just being her normal crazy self as Hatterton & Patcho chatted about possibly getting a new act. “!cigam rof evarc sdworc ,sey. neve fi gnilleps era ew ekil doog sselnops! desopsid er'ew.” (“We’re disposed! Spineless good for nothing’s like we are! Yes, our crowds crave magic….”)

Patcho sat and thought before saying, “What if we got Hexie to join? She seems like she would do pretty good with a vanishing act, eh fellas?” Patcho playfully elbowed Hatteron as he thought about it...

Highlights of the Month:

Lonsdale Quay

We went to Lonsdale Quay :D Tho it felt weird after returning after so long. There was me, Yuto, Ruby….Who else was with me……

We ate lunch, walked around a bit, and got the seabus back to the SkyTrain station. It felt good to return somewhere nostalgic for me. Also we saw the train yard so that was cool!!!

ABA Camp Alumni Day

It felt weird being back here after many years. (I did get soaked by Chris Hogan during the water fight, so that was fun -_-). I also saw a old friend who I hadn’t seen in what felt like forever: Rowan. It felt nice to see him again after so long. As for lunch we had a good ol’ A&W meal.

Joke of the Month:

Q: Why is it bad to iron a four-leaf clover?

A: Because you should never press your luck!

Hi Chris, I'm new to your site...met your mom this morning at the White Rock Farmers Market... hadn't seen her for a few years so she gave me an update on your cool online venture!.

My grandson Cail Lawson is also autistic. He just turned 13 & his favourite thing is his YouTube channel CailTheGreatEditor2025 ..recently he's partnered with his parents (lives with dad in White Rock, mom lives in Whitehorse, Yukon & together established cail'scandycorner.com for online sales as well as a storefront in Horwood's Mall, Whitehorse.

Kudos to you for your entrepreneurship! Continued success!!
